TEAM STRUCTURE & WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: 

You will be helping our therapists and our participants in technical issues and asks. In addition, you will be the main person managing our various IT systems and laptops for all employees of Meru Health, helping everyone be productive while keeping security front and center. You will work closely with part time security managers and analysts and take their guidance to implementation in our IT infrastructure and processes. We are managing peoples’ personal health information (PHI), so it is of utmost importance that we keep everything safe and secure. You will be managing various systems and making sure they are secure and running smooth.

Your first 90 days will include

  • Being trained in and taking over over managing all end user equipment
  • Creating user accounts and tracking user permissions
  • Identifying areas to automate and add business value
  • Performing an assessment using industry standard IT security framewor

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL FOCUS ON:

  • Device management (Kandji, Google MDM) for laptops (Macs) and mobile devices
  • Access management to our SaaS tools
  • Providing first line technical support to Meru Health providers and employees
  • Working with Customer Support helping them troubleshoot technical issues for providers & patients
  • Supporting and implementing information security policies and processes
  • Developing and implementing security practices at Meru Health including preparing for audits, evaluating vulnerabilities, updating systems, etc.
  • Working with security engineers on investigating vulnerabilities and implementing fixes
  • Working with experienced security professionals on creating a security roadmap
  • Participating in risk assessments and helping with maintaining enterprise risk management program

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:

  • Previous experience managing end user devices and mobile equipment
  • Enjoying helping others to overcome technical challenges
  • Being curious and adaptable, thinking "outside the box"
  • Interest in learning about security management in a highly regulated environment
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate timelines for support tasks
  • Working in a high-tech, fast-paced remote environment
  • Being a self starter with the ability to work independently
  • Being able to break down technical challenges into simple steps, effectively communicating technical solutions to non-technical people
