We are looking for a talented IT Engineer to join a team of highly qualified professionals and get involved in the full IT projects lifecycle for enterprise-class solutions.
Responsibilities
More specifically, as IT Network Engineer, you will:
- Participate in the design, implementation and support of Qualco and customers IT network infrastructure;
- Install and configure network devices;
- Perform network maintenance;
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability;
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies;
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support in network infrastructure;
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution; and
- Maintain expert level knowledge of various vertical areas of functionality and technology within IT engineering technologies.
Requirements
To be considered you should have:
- 3-7 years of hands-on IT engineering experience;
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject;
- Certifications in one or more of the following areas: Cisco, Checkpoint;
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
