The Opportunity:
You are responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of IT infrastructure and operational activities. Ensure the seamless functioning of technology systems, operations, and services. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business goals, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency. Provide effective leadership and technical expertise, to contribute to the stability, security, and growth of IT environment. Responsible for developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and standards that ensure the reliability and performance of technology assets. Managing a team of Sysmte Administrators, overseeing system upgrades, and maintaining a proactive approach to identify and address potential operational challenges. Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence upholding high standards of service delivery to achieve its strategic objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of system administrators fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement IT operational strategies aligned with the organization's overall business goals, ensuring technology supports and drives company objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, incident response, problem resolution, and service requests, ensuring the smooth functioning of technology systems.
- Manage the IT operations budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize costs while ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure hardware, software, and services.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to cybersecurity best practices, including data protection, access controls, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive plans for disaster recovery and business continuity, ensuring rapid system restoration in case of disruptions.
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to scope, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Implement and oversee change management processes for IT updates, upgrades, and deployments to minimize disruptions and ensure user adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their technology needs, provide support, and ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance IT operations.
Skills we need:
- Technical or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related degree.
- Advanced English.
- In-depth understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
- Knowledge of best practices for managing and optimizing IT operations, including monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Active Directory and associated technology.
- Understanding of MS SQL Architecture including multi-site Availability Groups.
- Best practices for server deployments using Windows DSC/MDT configurations.
- Troubleshooting and scale architecture for IIS server deployments.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and track IT initiatives.
- Awareness of change management principles to facilitate smooth transitions during technology upgrades or implementations.
- Understanding of budget planning, resource allocation, and cost optimization in IT operations.
