Datto is looking for a highly experienced IT Program Director to lead the next phase of our Quote to Cash transformation. This is a strategic priority as Datto brings together multiple product lines onto a common platform.This is a critical priority on the digital transformation roadmap. In this role we are looking for someone with a proven track record of leading multiple large ERP and/or financial systems implementations from program setup through to successful completion. This individual will direct, manage, lead, and coordinate the transformation program from start to finish, orchestrating across all program workstreams, teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful program implementation. The scope of this program includes the replacement of the legacy solutions that support  the quoting, ordering, billing and cash collection processes for our partners. 

The primary role of the Program Director is to deliver the overall program in line with schedule, cost, quality, and scope commitments. Specifically to:

  • Implement effective program governance to ensure adherence to budgets and established schedules (in collaboration with management, internal and external teams and partners)
  • Lead and ensure that alignment occurs across all parties, workstreams, and projects teams (IT & Business, internal & external, vendors)
  • Own consolidated project plan including all related and dependent tasks, partnering with product owners and scrum masters to ensure alignment. 
  • Communicate program progress, escalations, issues and risks to program stakeholders and Executive Sponsors
  • Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff in a matrixed environment
  • Develop and direct development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for the overall program program.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-time/on-budget quality delivery of this phase of the Quote to Cash program, as well as subsequent digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with representatives of other IT/business functional areas to ensure end to end process integration and consistency
  • This role with work for the Datto CIO and partner closely with the other IT leaders who own the applications in support of this program



  • Proven experience as a Program Manager for multiple large implementations (ERP, CRM, etc.)
  • 6-10 years experience managing complex programs
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and executive communication skills
  • Ability to lead, influence and motivate without direct supervision
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred.
