It is a very exciting time of growth for Quisitive, and we are currently hiring a Project Manager with mid-level technical project management experience, solid consulting skills and business acumen to join our expanding team. In this role you will manage several short-term (avg 4-6 weeks) Microsoft or Quisitive-funded assessment projects concurrently on a team of high performing IT professionals who guide Quisitive clients through their digital roadmap strategy and propose solutions to meet those needs.

This role can be located in the Central or Eastern time zones in the United States but we would prefer Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago or Tampa.

The successful Project Manager for this role will have experience and capabilities that demonstrates ability to:

  • Plan, organize and manage all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. This includes developing and managing project governance plans, project schedules, team goals and success criteria, project milestones and budgets.
  • Display confidence in taking the lead and owning issue and risk management, decisions and outcomes for assigned team tasks and activities, and the overall success of a project.
  • Position self as a leader and team player who effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, third-party partners and other key stakeholders involved with or impacted by assigned projects.
  • Understand the operating styles of others, team/client relationships and dynamics, and environmental or cultural nuances, and adjusts behavior accordingly to succeed.
  • Deploy formal project management and development methodologies on an enterprise level engagement using Agile, Iterative and other methods.
  • Understand project management best practices and how to apply them in an effective yet pragmatic way across complex projects.
  • Challenge, recommend and redirect teams as well as client expectations as necessary for successful program and project delivery.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, client-facing, project environment and meet expectations and deadlines of daily turnaround of client and team communications.
  • Stay abreast of the teams’ collective performance and adherence to established process standards, metrics and expectations.
  • Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of clear and accurate project communications.
  • Improve process efficiencies and effectiveness and ensure teams meet or exceed customer expectations.

What's required?

  • 5-8 years project management experience in IT consulting managing enterprise-level IT projects across multiple industries
  • Experience managing two or more small-to-medium technical projects concurrently with few to many team members with budgets totaling over $500,000
  • Experience conducting and leading client facing meetings/workshops, managing client expectations, and experience with account growth and expansion
  • Experience engaging with clients on professional and consultative levels beyond scope/schedule/budget communications
  • Working knowledge of EVM and the principles of cost and schedule performance metrics
  • Professional, credible presence and excellent presentation skills 
  • Strong leadership, verbal/written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to influence, promote teamwork and build relationships
  • History of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth in project management
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office, Teams, PowerPoint and Project toolsets
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
