Who are we looking for?

Vestwell is expanding and we’re excited about bringing onboard an IT Support Analyst who is passionate about our mission to change the retirement FinTech space. At a high level, we’re looking for someone who has insane levels of attention to detail and proven ability of juggling multiple priorities at once.

We’re a startup… so a self-starter mentality comes first and foremost. You are someone who will dive into whatever challenge is placed in front of you, and find creative ways to solve problems.


What will you be doing at Vestwell?

Day-to-day you will be expected to:

  • Provide workstation, laptop, wireless, phone and printer hardware and software support/troubleshooting, imaging, procurement and patching.
  • Set up and configure all workstation, laptop, telephone and printer hardware.
  • Ensure all open tickets requiring follow-up work are resolved.
  • Create & maintain documentation to support various tasks and procedures
  • Provide operating system updates for laptops/desktops.
  • Manage software licensing
  • Perform project implementation configuration of various tools, and reporting systems.


  • Unix management experience (Unix, Linux or Mac OSX)
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and Wireless technologies (DNS, DHCP, ARP, static routing, etc.)
  • Experience with basic computing peripherals and connection technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, Thunderbolt, etc)
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an IT support role

The Necessities

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • CompTIA (one or more A+/Networking/Linux/Security or similar certification)
  • Focus on Linux, Unix or Mac OSX (OSX preferred)
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Solid understanding of Role Based Access (groups, inheritance, bindings, LDAP, etc)
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Ability to conduct research into technical issues as required to support help desk operations.
  • Ability to work with vendor support teams to resolve complex issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills so that you can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
