IT Support Assistant

We seek an enthusiastic IT assistant who has the desire to grow both their technical and client/customer care skills. You will be helping ensure iwoca employees are always provided with the greatest IT experience using their equipment and operational systems. You will form part of the front line of the IT department making sure that all user needs, queries or problems are identified, prioritised and resolved to a high standard. You will be exposed to cutting edge online systems in a fast paced, forward thinking organisation.

  • Triaging incoming support tickets, answering and escalating where appropriate.
  • Assisting the user onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Ensuring equipment stock levels are managed and tracked in asset systems.
  • Helping ensure users equipment and work areas are functional/ready for new starters.
  • Ensuring meeting room AV equipment is kept ready for use.
  • Student/graduate in a relevant field or a keen demonstratable interest in IT.
  • To have good general knowledge and experience with computer hardware, accessories and peripherals
  • Experience working with online systems, Gsuite, Office365
  • A basic understanding of networking/internet connectivity, WiFi and how to start troubleshooting problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have high attention to detail and take pride all work
  • To have a keen interest in IT electronic devices and gadgets etc.
  • Desire to learn and increase knowledge
  • Ability to work flexibly with people of different cultures, languages etc.
  • Ability to work within a team
