The Role: IT Support Associate

The IT Support Associate is a key member of the IT Support  team. You will be responsible not only for keeping us up-and-running day-to-day, but for keeping us cutting edge by anticipating problems, spotting opportunities, and designing solutions. You will help MessageBird stay focused on company priorities by ensuring we have what we need to work quickly and efficiently. You will support primarily our Amsterdam Headquarters, but also provide support and advice to our other global offices.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and actively optimize our office IT infrastructure and set-up, including AV equipment and access control systems
  • Troubleshoot our Birds’ IT challenges and help develop their technical education.
  • Systematically address recurring issues through automation by scaling education through training and documentation, and implementing technical solutions. 
  • Work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, and manage time efficiently.

What you’ll bring:

  • 0-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Can multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently, including under short deadlines and with conflicting priorities.
  • Being a team player who is adaptable, responsible, patient and enjoys helping others.
  • Have a functional understanding of LAN and wireless networks.   
  • Have the ability to logically work through technical issues.
  • Have experience with the Google Suite of applications. 
  • Have experience with Apple laptops (we’re 100% Apple)
