For our office in Düsseldorf we are currently looking to hire an IT Support Coordinator (m/f/d)

‘Global Infrastructure Operations’ is a department within IT, having the overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of IT services in Statkraft, either through service providers or own resources. The team is also responsible for Process Management and local support globally.

We are now looking to strengthen our Local Technical Support team and seek an IT Support Coordinator to coordinate and handle local IT needs for the Düsseldorf office. You will work in a dynamic operational environment as part of our Operation Center and Local Technical Support team, collaborating with a large IT environment (170+ employees) in continuous development. You will report to Head of Global Infrastructure Operations.

In your role you will:

  • Handle and coordinate Events, Incidents, Service requests and Changes related to the local IT environment in Düsseldorf
  • Provide desktop swap‐out, Level 2 hardware and system software support to include but not limited to Engineering workstations, laptops, desktops, Smart Phones/Tablets and other devices as mutually agreed and defined
  • Handle issues requiring local physical presence and be available for the Customer’s users requiring IT support and assistance
  • Identify problems and give input to the problem process
  • Provide technical support for special events such as annual meetings, Board meetings, training sessions, for both internal/ external End Users, etc
  •  Cooperate closly with other IT departments to ensure service delivery to all Statkraft sites
  • Work out and maintain IT Operations documentation
  • Have the opportunity to participate in national and international infrastructure projects
  • Computer Science degree
  • A few years of experience within operation of Windows clients and servers, networking and telephony systems
  • Knowledge about IT process management framework, preferably ITIL
  • Quick learner who likes to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Good communication and cooperation skills
  • Self-driven and energetic, able to perform under pressure
  • Service minded, friendly and polite
  • Very good English skills – written and spoken.
