IT Support Specialist

What you’ll do

  • Feet on ground support across all 3 hubs, primarily based at head office
  • Ensuring that IT hardware on desks are setup and cabled neatly
  • Maintenance of boardrooms, ensuring IT equipment is functioning and up to date
  • Document and maintain Wikis where needed
  • General maintenance and administration of hardware, software and operating systems
  • Provide IT helpdesk and application support for employees
  • Delve into and support issues for the various internal and external systems at use at THE ICONIC
  • Log incidents/service requests into the ticketing system and escalate third line issues to the appropriate engineering team as required
  • Creation of employee email and service accounts
  • Maintain various backend IT systems
  • Imaging of laptops / setting up IT equipment for staff, including software applications
  • Managing and tracking of assets within the asset management system
  • Provide networked printing maintenance, troubleshooting and installation.

Here’s what you need to set you off on an ICONIC Journey

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with a Help Desk Ticketing System
  • Experience working with PC and Apple products including: Windows 10, Office 2007-2010, Office 365, Mac OSX, Apple iOS and Android devices 
  • Experience creating & maintaining support tickets and documentation in order to assist staff in quick resolution of incidents and service requests
  • Good fundamental networking knowledge
  • Initiative and enthusiasm and the ability to identify and prioritise issues and provide appropriate resolutions
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
