Robin is a cloud first company for both our SaaS product and the tools we use. Our employees use the latest Apple MacBooks. Security and data protection are a top priority for Robin. We are looking for a security oriented person with previous experience in a cloud first start up. Robin is a hybrid company with employees remote and in the office. It is the responsibility of the IT Support Technician to ensure the office gives the best work experience possible through the ongoing maintenance and improvement of Robin’s IT and conference room systems. This requires an on-site presence at our Boston office.

We’re looking for an inspiring IT Support Technician to report directly to our Director of Systems Operations/DPO and focus on building out and maintaining our in-house IT support.

This role is interesting because:

  • You will work directly with Robin’s leadership team to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • You will take ownership of Robin’s office network and audio/visual requirements, ensuring high availability. Be available on-site to ensure smooth running of Robin’s IT and conference room requirements
  • You will work cross functionally to design, implement, and manage new processes, including a robust automated onboarding/offboarding, device management for Apple laptops, access point management for Robin’s AWS cloud, and ensuring that IT meets Robin’s security and compliance requirements.
  • You will be responsible for the migration of all of Robin’s SaaS platforms to SSO with Okta provisioning where supported. Provision and administer access to platforms such as Google, Slack, Github and Jira.
  • You will provide ongoing support and configuration of SaaS systems to streamline delivery of services to the user community.

You are qualified if you have:

  • Hands-on experience providing IT support at a SaaS company and a strong understanding of security and its importance in this environment
  • Experience with Apple hardware, macOS and iOS, Mobile Device Management (Jamf strongly preferred), SSO and SAML provisioning with Okta, and audio-visual and video conferencing equipment experience (Our primary system is Google Meet)
  • An understanding of network fundamentals (office hardware is currently Unifi)
  • A self-starter mentality with good written and verbal communication skills and a passion about technology
  • Scripting capabilities in bash, perl or similar
