Junior Account Manager - Affiliate Program

Overview:

Agoda.com is a leading Asia-based, online hotel reservations company, part of Priceline.com (NASDAQ: PCLN).

The Agoda affiliate program offers online hotel-booking solutions to help affiliates monetize their traffic with ancillary revenue as well as provide extra value to their customers through additional offerings and special deals. As Junior Account Manager you will be working within the Partner Marketing department of Agoda to help manage the affiliate program and drive hotel sales through our affiliate program.

This position is based at Bangkok, Thailand.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Marketing of the Affiliate Partner program in the Indonesian, Malaysian & Singaporean markets
  • Generation of partner leads, qualification and identification
  • Ownership of the marketing process from deal negotiation to deal closure
  • Understanding a partner’s business needs and translate this into regular tailored joint marketing initiatives
  • Implementation of Agoda Partner solutions
  • Managing existing accounts and building long-term relationships with partners
  • Translating partners’ technical requirements into business growth opportunities
  • Execute day-to-day affiliate program management including partner inquiries and escalations, compliance and quality assurance, performance monitoring and affiliate communications
  • Maintain regular contact with partners, supported by a client performance monitoring plan
  • Regular reporting on partners’ business performance, prepare, analyze, and present periodic status reports

 Qualifications:

  • Proven business development and account management track record
  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in sales/marketing role (preferably e-business, travel, airlines, consulting, services)
  • Excellent understanding of websites and the key levers that impact traffic and conversion rates
  • Good understanding of Internet trends with basic HTML and Java script knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of affiliate tracking methods, tagging and sale attribution
  • Ability to understand and optimize to key marketing metrics (ROI, CPA, CPC, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn fast and understand software products
  • Demonstrated experience in online marketing channels, paid search or email marketing, is a big plus
  • Ability to understand numbers and trends to develop action plans
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Bachelor or Master Degree (Commerce, Economics, Business)
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills. Fluency in other Asian languages (i.e. Indonesian, Malay or Chinese) considered a plus.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in online business development
