We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Communications Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing strategic marketing communications initiatives across various channels.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to create and execute communication plans, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research to understand target audiences and inform content creation.
- Create engaging content in Arabic and English for various channels, including social media, email marketing, website, and press releases.
- Manage and maintain our social media presence, including developing content calendars, scheduling posts, and interacting with followers.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for communication.
- Support with public relations activities, such as drafting press releases and media outreach.
- Support the organization of events, conferences, and other promotional activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Maintain relationships with media contacts and coordinate press inquiries and interviews.
- Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and newsletters.
- Track and analyze the performance of communication initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing communications role (required).
- You are Bi-lingual (Arabic and English required).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in social media marketing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).
- Proficiency in using software such as Excel, Canva, and PowerPoint for various marketing purposes.
- Knowledgeable of the startup ecosystem (a plus).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
