Position Overview:

Rent the Runway is looking for a Junior Designer to join our growing creative services team. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally and touch all areas of brand creative: digital, print, retail and packaging. If you have a passion for design, and a desire to work in a creative entrepreneurial environment, we should talk.

Responsibilities:

  • Design content for site, email, social media, print collateral, packaging and in-store marketing
  • Partner with the creative team to unite the visual style consistency across the brand
  • Collaborate with the creative, marketing and tech teams to conceptualize, design, and execute brand creative as needed
  • Work on special projects directed by the Creative Director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience creating digital and print brand experiences
  • Strong conceptual thinking and design sensibilities
  • A passion for fashion and attention to detail
  • Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A love for typography and grid-based design
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and hardworking
  • Proactive, positive attitude a must
  • Team player that is able to equally contribute and listen to others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have an interest in the latest design trends, technology and social media
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and the tools for print and web design
  • Proficiency in HTML, Square space and CSS a plus, but not required
  • Background in fashion or luxury
