Junior Game Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Design of game features and content, from conception to completion
  • Pitch, design and prototype game features, in accordance with the Game pillars and Creative guidelines
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including feature metrics, specification and implementation guidelines
  • Implement, balance and bug fix gameplay features by using inhouse game engine.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the implementation of systems and content into actual gameplay while maintaining the overall balance between multiple systems.
  • Comfortable with both conceptual and hands-on aspect of Game Design;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to showcase problem-solving skills
  • Broad gaming experience and knowledge of video games, with a strong Player-Centric mindset
  • Open to constructive criticism and able to listen and give feedback to others;
  • Comfortable with a development schedule that is playtest-driven and focused on fast iterations and polish;
  • Strong motivation and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Solid written and read in English.
  • Technical background in programming or scripting;
  • Experience with 3D game engine software and level building tools, e.g. UE4, unity;
  • Knowledge of UX Design.
