Salary: £24k base + car allowance and benefits
Based: Remote – but within a 2-hour radius of the head office at High Wycombe
Term: Full-time, Permanent

Focusrite is looking for a Junior UK Product Specialist. The role will be covering the full range of award-winning products from the Focusrite, Novation and ADAM Audio brands.

A wide ranging, interesting and multi-faceted role, the Junior UK Product Specialist will be responsible for the visiting and training of our UK reseller staff in addition to being responsible for the curation and delivery of compelling end-user facing product demonstrations and events in partnership with our reseller network in the UK.

As part of the Sales & Marketing Team in the UK, you will be working closely with the Sales Team, EMEA Events Manager and EMEA Education Channel Manager, you will be a recognised public face of the company at UK based exhibitions and events.

Comfortable and confident talking to camera, you will be expected to assist in content creation to support our continuing investment in remote product training, headed up by the Channel Training Manager. Your enquiring and questioning nature, along with your empathy for people’s level of understanding will dictate your approach to the presentation style needed in the moment. All underpinned by a commercial sensitivity that recognises the value that a Product Specialist can bring to the Sales function.

In addition to your primary role, as a Junior Product Specialist, your in-depth knowledge of our product ranges and the competitive product landscape will make you a valuable resource to our wider Marketing and Product Teams and you will be expected to be a positive and pro-active participant in company meetings and longer term product strategy.

Required Skills:

  • A good understanding of the markets, including the competitive landscape, in which Focusrite, Novation and ADAM Audio brands operate.
  • Real life experience of using technology-based tools for music creation
  • Comfortable and confident in-front of camera.
  • Comfortable and confident when presenting to, sometimes large, groups of people.
  • A warming personality.
  • A team player.
  • A skilled communicator and presenter, both verbally and in writing.

Regular travel with nights away from home and occasional weekend and evening working will be a requirement of the successful applicant.
