Lead Data Analyst - Customer Delight

As a Lead Data analyst, you will be leading our Customer Delight Analytics team to better serve our customers and raise standards on refurbish industry.


  • Conduct deep dive analysis to identify growth opportunities in engaging customers throughout their lifetimes and providing delight at each step in their relationship with Back Market.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on our client long term value (LTV) to identify and monitor the high value actions in which we should invest in to drive customer engagement in the long term
  • Analyze & monitor our Customer Delight performance (Customer Care, Delivery & Product Quality) to better serve our customers
  • Explore and recommend new approaches for understanding customer intent, sentiment and behavior to better allow Back Market to meet customer needs
  • Be an active contributor to the strategy, by thinking beyond immediate analysis to understand the long-term implications of actions
  • Collaborate closely with business & top management : supporting their needs, sharing your analysis & recommendations in an impactful way to get their buy-in
  • Lead a team of Analysts : coach the team and drive the impact of the team


  • You have 5+ years of relevant industry experience (ecommerce, retail, marketplace…)
  • You possess a good balance of statistical/technical skills, business acumen, and communication skills
  • You have experience partnering with internal teams to drive action and providing expertise and direction on analytics
  • You have good knowledge of SQL but Python or another coding is a plus
  • Experience in marketplaces is a plus
