As Sprig grows, we are looking to expand our culinary team with talented, driven culinary professionals. Are you an experienced line cook that values quality and consistency and can execute delicious food daily? Whenever you see an opportunity to improve the customer experience, you can't help but take action! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a challenge. Ordering in three taps is easy, but preparing and delivering high-quality food at scale is not so simple.

Responsibilities:
-Produce delicious, eye-appealing and nutritious food
-Execute menu vision ensuring consistency and compliance with Sprig’s recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelinesPrepare meals as part of a team, upholding the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety at all times
-Follow and enforce Sprig guidelines concerning food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment/ space
-Assist in set-up and break down of kitchen
-Use traditional, made from scratch preparation methods
-Ensure quality and timeliness of food production, using batch-cookingmethods to maintain quality and freshness of product
-Complete daily Time and Temperature logs for all production items
-Ensure accurate labeling, dating, and rotating using the FIFO method for all raw and prepped food products
-Report any injury, accident and/or food borne illness incident accurately and in a timely manner to the Sous Chefs
-Meet all timelines for preparation and ordering

Skills & Requirements:
-2 years of previous line cook experience, high volume experience preferred
-Culinary degree preferred
-California or equivalent Food Handlers Certification
-Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
-Self-motivated, takes initiative and willing to acquire new skills
-Willingness to work in a collaborative environment with coworkers from diverse technical backgrounds
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Spanish & English preferred
-Requires moderate supervision and training
-Strong project management and computer skills, including Google Docs and Excel
