Lead Production Planner

Lead Production Planner
  • Maintaining & Updating current product BOMs.
  • Helping to set up and create BOMs for new products.
  • Publishing weekly production schedules based on due date.
  • Level loading the production plan, and identify potential corrective actions such as: overtime, adding equipment/fixture and/or resources, and expediting.
  • Serving as a communication bridge by connecting management and production/consulting staff using meetings, reports, and idea exchanges.
  • Working closely with Supply Chain Procurement team to monitor lead times for on-time arrival into manufacturing process at CM.
  • Able to successfully resolve supply chain delays by coordinating with vendors & internal departments.
  • Coordinating with the Sourcing and Supply Chain Team to manage new product launches.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain Team to monitor inventory levels and sourcing needs.
  • Working with Marketing/Sales team to maintain weekly production schedule updates. 
  • Tracking change log and communicate properly to the stake holders.


  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of related Manufacturing, Production Planning, Supply Chain experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong statistical, analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with detailed master schedules with an outsourced oversea CM environment desired.
  • Ability to create excel reports to support the Marketing/Sales and operations planning process.
  • Proficient in MS Office-Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, and other planning tools.
  • Strong project management skills, works collaboratively with stake holders and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere that requires a large variety of tasks and duties.
  • Contract Manufacturing side supply chain working experience is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual English/Mandarin is desirable, but not required.
