We’re looking for a hardworking, skilled and result driven Lead Android Engineer to help us take our product to the next level. As a Lead Android Engineer, you will be working on the Glassdoor’s Mobile Application Engineering team that is responsible for the popular, award-winning Glassdoor iOS and Android apps. Our mobile apps are part of the key strategy in Glassdoor’s mission to help users find the jobs and companies they love. The Mobile Application Engineering team owns all aspects of our native apps feature set and delivery.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for Mobile application development, a strong background in building beautiful and scalable mobile applications. As a late stage startup, we look for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment – which means wearing multiple hats, being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn new technologies as the need arises.
In this role you work with a cross-functional, collaborative environment – so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also a must. And most importantly – we look for people who can prioritize, multi-task, and deliver.
Base Salary Range*: $168k-$252k
*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
Annual Bonus Target**: 10%
**Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews

***Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, there are additional RSU grant awards for the very top performers.
