What's the opportunity?

As our Legal Assistant based in Malta, you work closely with senior members of the Company and gain hands-on experience in a variety of areas of corporate law and MFSA regulations. And you will be expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often with competing deadlines.

The legal issues you will be working on can be complex and require significant attention to detail. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues across the organization and work collaboratively to ensure legal compliance.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting in the preparation of corporate documents, including board and shareholder resolutions and other corporate governance materials.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure legal compliance across the organization.
  • Assisting the Company Secretary in attending board meetings and drafting the minutes.
  • Managing and organizing legal documents and files.
  • Assisting senior legal counsel in providing legal advice and support on various legal issues related to corporate law and other legal matters.

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor of Law or similar field.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to both legal and non-legal personnel.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
