As Sprig grows, we are looking to expand our culinary team with talented, driven culinary professionals. This position is ideal for someone with some line cook experience and is looking for a challenge. Ordering in three taps is easy, but preparing and delivering high-quality food at scale is not so simple.
The benefits of the job include: preparing a daily menu highlighting organic fresh produce, production at scale, and the potential over time get involved with other aspects of the culinary business.

-Follow instructions of the Head of Production and Sous Chef’s to prope​​​​rly execute menu vision; ensuring consistency and compliance with Sprig’s recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines
-Prepare meals as part of a team, upholding the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety at all times
-Follow Sprig guidelines concerning food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment/ space
-Clean kitchen at the end of each night, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down all surfaces, and overall area sanitation
-Clean preparation and cooking equipment, work station areas and kitchen as necessary and/or directed; proper disposal of spoiled foods, returns preparation utensils and small wares items to the proper areas
-Appropriately store all food product to ensure safety, quality and freshness
-Communicate timely and follow up as appropriateOther duties as necessary may be assigned by the manager or supervisor to whom this position reports

Skills & Requirements:
-Culinary degree preferred
-Experience in high-volume kitchen required1 year experience cooking in a professional kitchen
-California or equivalent Food Handlers Certification
-General knowledge of common computer software and web browsers sufficient to view and use internal company information
-Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
-Self-motivated, takes initiative and willing to acquire new skills
-Bilingual is a plus!
