The Role & You

Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will be the primary day-to-day logistics and warehousing contact for the business and will support all relevant relationships and processes both inside and outside of the company. Your initial focus will be on domestic middle mile transportation, but as you gain expertise may grow to include parcel, warehousing, fulfillment, and international logistics for both Inbound and outbound freight. You will be responsible for securing the capacity that we need, managing performance, and controlling costs. You will partner with Member Experience, Supply Planning, and Procurement and will interface with teams responsible for managing final mile logistics.

Your success in this role will primarily be measured on the following Metrics:

  • Adherence of Overall Warehousing and Transportation Spend vs Budget
  • Fulfillment, Warehousing, & Transportation Performance vs SLA’s
  • Stock availability at our Final Mile hubs of 98% per the original ETA date.

Requirements

The Necessities

  • Detail oriented individual who takes personal ownership of deliverables
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Scorecarding, etc)
  • Capable of managing multiple partners, particularly via phone
  • Creativity in problem solving in a fast-paced, start-up environment

The Extras

  • Experience with SQL is a plus
