In Fall 2016, Rent The Runway will be launching its first Southern California store in beautiful Westfield Topanga's "The Village".  Rent the Runway’s retail stores allow clients the opportunity to have a personalized shopping experience with a highly knowledgeable and elevated stylist, by offering our signature Cinderella Experience.  The store concept is an integral part of the future of retail for RTR, providing an upscale offering to every client that comes through the door. We are looking for dynamic, tech- savvy, fashion-advanced, engaging, and energetic leadership to join the team at Rent the Runway, who will consistently deliver outstanding customer service and bring our brand to life.  


  • Lead a team of Stylists
  • Actively contribute to the team’s growth by leading by example, communicating effectively, and collaborating with internal teams
  • Act as a mentor and point person to the team by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and by demonstrating strong problem solving abilities in a customer facing environment
  • Responsible for meeting team goals and key metrics; hold team members accountable for overall and individual goals.
  • Lead team meetings; perform individual touch bases and monthly reviews.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to elevate the store experience and further develop areas of interest
  • Demonstrate keen understanding of products and services, using this knowledge to build sales  
  • Support Store Manager in relevant projects and trainings.
  • Filling in where needed as business demands; handling customer issues, working with walk in traffic and any other tasks that need attention.
  • Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude

 Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years retail management experience
  • Flexible schedule and ability to commit a minimum of 45 hours per week including nights and weekends
  • Consistent track record of success in a leadership position
  • Proven track record in attendance and performance
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
