Who We Want 
The LTL Operations Manager is responsible for building relationships with Arrive internal customers through constant contact and advocacy and proactive issue management. The LTL Operations Manager will provide effective solutions for our customers through extensive transportation knowledge. 

What You’ll Do

  • Build relationships with Business Development by offering advice, solutions and proactive issue resolution. 
  • Deliver upon service level agreements, expectations and value propositions.
  • Provide effective solutions for Business Development and Arrive customers through extensive knowledge on relevant modes of transportation. 
  • Collaborate with support departments (Finance, IT, Accounting, Carrier Procurement, etc.)
  • Draft, monitor, manage, improve and report upon key performance indicators including financial performance of accounts and team process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure operational excellence by training, developing and managing operations teams on a daily basis. 
  • Identify and develop talent through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
  • Draft, improve and drive compliance to standard operational procedures.
  • Create and manage reporting for Business Development- complete root cause analysis and any additional projects 
  • Ensure departmental standards are adopted and conduct analysis of workload as compared to manpower and technology 

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years experience in the logistics field. 
  • Proven leader. 
  • Accepting of new challenges, self-motivated, trusted advisor to internal teams.
  • Confidence in making tough decisions.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to collaborate with management and peers alike.
