About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Architect to lead the design and development of a scalable artificial intelligence platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML, a deep understanding of data architecture, and experience deploying and maintaining models in production. The candidate will be responsible for designing and building the platform on which our machine learning models will be deployed and will play a critical role in the success of our machine learning initiatives.

Day to Day:

Lead the design and development of our AI platform for the delivery of machine learning models, ensuring security, reliability and scalability to support the growth of the business
Work with data engineering to design and implement data pipelines and processing systems that meet the needs of data science and analyst use cases
Work with data scientists to design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions, including model training and deployment processes
Collaborate with product and business teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
Stay current on the latest developments in AI/ML and bring new ideas to the team.

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on AI/ML.
A deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, models, and libraries.
Extensive experience in building and deploying scalable AI platforms and systems.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It would be great if you also had:

Experience with AWS cloud services and data warehouses such as Databricks, etc.
Experience with big data tools: Spark, Kafka, etc.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, etc.
Strong Experience with Code/Model Management + DevOps: Github, Github Actions, Terraform, MLflow etc.
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Scala, Java, C++, etc.
