Your role

We are a looking for a newly qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA), someone who is advanced in Excel and that has strong data handling skills and experience.

You will be primarily responsible for processing and posting journals for certain income/costs as part of month end process and balance sheet reconciliations to support the team with the month end close. 

Your team

You will be joining a Group Finance team of 9 colleagues to support the team with the preparation of the month end accounts, interim and annual consolidated accounts and support the audit of your areas of responsibility. 

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out month end procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals including payments/accruals, accrued/deferred income
• Preparation of Management Accounts for some brands within the group
• Month end reporting including profit & loss
• Reconcile multiple sources of income
• Assist the Head of Finance with any other projects as required
• Assistance with debtors and stock reporting
• Assisting with audit preparation and year end accounts preparation support
• Good working knowledge of transactional processes and supporting the wider finance team
• Other duties as required
