As our Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the Company Shop Group’s financial management and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities include
Oversee daily, weekly and long-term cash flow forecasting and management.
With your leadership impact, you will take charge of the accounts payable function, leading a team of three direct reports. Your effective leadership will be pivotal in ensuring we fulfil our financial obligations to our suppliers on time and accurately.
As key point of contact with stores over their cash handling and closedown procedures and stock takes, your role is at the heart of our financial processes in stores.
Ensuring the financial gears of Company Shop Group run seamlessly through effective closedown of monthly accounts, including financial sub-ledgers (AP, AR, fixed assets, stock and payroll) and completion of key reconciliations. Your attention to detail ensures the integrity of our financial records.
Take charge of staff out-of-pocket and credit card expenses, showcasing your commitment to maintaining strong spend control.
Navigate VAT returns, annual audits and government returns (HMRC, ONS), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
