Management Accountant

Assume responsibility for the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting, both management and statutory for Culligan Consumer Products Ireland. The management accountant is responsible for the end-to-end RTR and financial reporting for the Vertical in line with Culligan policies and controls. The management accountant should be highly motivated, and improvement focused. They should be a qualified accountant with strong reporting experience. They should be able to demonstrate strong strategic thinking, problem solving, planning and communication skills, in addition to technical accounting capabilities.

  • Produce accurate, complete, and timely monthly, quarterly and annual relevant reporting, including reconciliations, management pack, business review pack, tax pack and audit pack.
  • Produce flash reports as required.
  • Manages the reconciliation of the stock ledger, maintaining the integrity and relevant provisions, supported by calculations
  • Perform appropriate journal entries/adjustments (with appropriate supporting documentation) ensuring GL reconciliation are timely and accurate.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary for month end. § Perform assurance and control responsibilities, ensuring adequate review and reconciliations, including sub-leger to GL reconciliations / review
  • Ensure the reconciliation of the Fixed asset register by performing asset creations, transfers, and asset changes on system.
  • Work with the Head of Finance and other business areas to drive process efficiency
  • Support with the implementation of a new ERP system. § Support with budgeting forecasting and analysis.
  • Support with annual audit.

Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Strong technical accountancy knowledge
  • Audit and accounts preparation or review experience
  • Accounting Qualifications (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Financial systems knowledge
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Motivated and improvement focused
