Position:  Manager – Export Compliance
As the Manager of Export Compliance, you’ll be interacting with some of the industry’s brightest minds as well as senior management and other internal groups on complex legal and business issues.
 
Job Duties: 
·         Conduct export technology reviews with the engineering team
·         Apply for export licenses when needed
·         Implement, maintain, and update Technology Control Plan (TCP) for technologies subject to export control   
·         Conduct export reviews with Human Resources, Marketing, and Logistics
·         Provide training related to export compliance
·         Assist in contract reviews
·         Work with IT to manage company confidential information and trade secrets
·         Provide access control of various data repositories 
·         Maintain and update Export Compliance Policy
 
Requirements: 
·         JD admitted to a US state bar in good standing
·         Approximately 5 or more years legal experience focusing on trade law, export, import controls compliance and related investigations matters
·         Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, FCPA and other regulations pertaining to international trade required
·         Experience working with US government agencies responsible for the review of trade law compliance, including the Department of State and the Department of Commerce
·         Ability to manage multiple requirements and remain composed under pressure
·         Experienced in managing projects and supervising personnel in these efforts
·         Strong interpersonal and communications skills
·         Professional maturity and impeccable ethics and integrity
·         Business orientation and a strong interest in working as part of a fast-faced start-up environment
·         Strong academic background
