ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Manager, Financial Systems to join our Finance Transformation team, where you will help build the financial infrastructure to scale and support the evolving needs of our business. Our team is seeking a hands-on, intellectually curious functional lead for our procure-to-pay (P2P) systems who is willing to challenge existing solutions and able to work in a rapid development environment with multiple internal customers throughout the business. 

The Manager, Financial Systems will serve as system owner and subject matter expert for our financial systems supporting the P2P process, specifically our AP, T&E, and Treasury applications. This includes systems planning, management, configuration/development, roles management, and operations support of the tool. The ideal candidate is accountable for full lifecycle development that entails the analysis, design and development of tool components, in addition to proactively identifying enhancement opportunities to the tools as implemented. You understand, interpret and transform business problems, opportunities and requirements into recommendations and solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Provide day-to-day support for maintaining and administering our procure-to-pay systems -- including Coupa, Concur, Kyriba -- working with key stakeholders across finance, procurement, IT and other teams. 
  • Build trusted relationships with key business partners on treasury, finance operations, tax, and accounting
  • Gain a deep understanding of business needs to contribute to prioritization of new projects or enhancements to meet existing or long-term goals; support refinement, estimation, and prioritization of product backlog items
  • Develop best practices for utilization of our P2P systems to drive efficiency in our business processes and support our growing team 
  • Oversee administration, roles management, change management, release management, integration, monitoring, and functional support of applications such as Coupa, Concur, Kyriba, and ServiceChannel
  • Manage overall health and operation of P2P financial systems, including system updates, regular maintenance, and monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and provide day-to-day business user support and trainings as needed
  • Act as a solution architect for financial systems by identifying business requirements, as well as technical, procedural, and functional gaps, and then implementing solutions for those needs
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, product vendors, development teams, and consultants to implement business solutions and processes using best-in-class standards, procedures, and methodologies
  • Implement system, metadata, and rule changes that are consistent with finance team’s requirements
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of project plans, including defining activities, sequences, dependencies, work effort, schedules, and task duration
  • Ensure clear documentation of processes and standards - create or maintain system process and user training documentation

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 4+ years of knowledge and related industry experience implementing and maintaining financial systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience
  • Direct experience with Coupa, Concur and other P2P systems are strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, diagnostic and decision-making skills
  • Well versed in Finance business processes in Sourcing, Procurement, Payables, Tax, Travel Expenses, Corporate/Procurement cards and Accounting, as well as their interdependencies and how system solutions fit into the processes.
  • Solid understanding of full-cycle implementation of financial system and application support processes
  • Extensive experience in managing a complex, global production environment and maintaining operational excellence. 
  • Ability to mobilize and escalate to any level necessary to get issues solved timely and effectively.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: proven ability to build relationships with internal and external partners, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Effective organizational and time management skills; demonstrates appropriate prioritization and ability to meet timelines
  • Self-starter that thrives in a fast paced environment, customer focused and collaborative with stakeholders on various teams.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member

Base Salary: $154,100.00  to $200,400.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
