About the Role

Behavox is producing cutting edge AI solutions for identifying illegal, immoral and malicious behavior.

We are now looking for an experienced manager with a deep understanding of data science and strong people management expertise to lead our Machine Learning team. This team is a part of the Data Science department responsible for research and development of state-of-the-art ML algorithms and models for extracting valuable insights and complex behavioral artifacts from the unstructured data lake, including text and voice communication data. Therefore, this team consists of two sub-teams - Natural Language Processing and Audio Analytics.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced innovative result-oriented leader with substantial expertise in Machine Learning covering all phases of ML models lifecycle from research and development to production delivery and maintenance.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of management experience for teams of 10+ people; experience with the distributed teams is an advantage
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Science / Engineering, including 4+ years in Machine Learning (preferably NLP) research engineering
  • Proven track record of successful building and delivering of AI powered products
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams like PM, Engineering, etc
  • Knowledge / hands on experience with ML frameworks and state-of-the-art methods in the area of ML / NLP is a plus

What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate and execute on the vision and strategy for ML team based on business requirements
  • Attract, develop, retain and lead the world-class team of ML research engineers
  • Drive innovation across the Data Science department
  • Improve existing processes and develop the new ones to set / achieve objectives and ensure roadmap execution in accordance with the company goals
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams - DataOps, MLOps, DataQA, Analysts, SME, PM, Engineering, etc
