Role Overview  

At LinkedIn the Digital Strategy & Operations team is the core team that enables the marketing and communications organization to deliver world class marketing campaigns.  

The Marketing Technology team leads our marketing technology strategy for LinkedIn. As part of this team you will be representing the voice of the business as you partner cross functionally with our Engineering, Data, Sales Development Operations teams to design, build and deliver simple, scalable and optimized lead management technology stack for Marketing and Sales Development teams.  

Job Responsibilities  

Day to Day 

  • Develop a quarterly ecosystem roadmap and strategy for our campaign management tools, marketing qualified lead and lead routing engines partnering with marketing, sales development and business operations for each of our businesses.
  • Lead the execution of our end to end lead management ecosystem through several phases of our initial implementation in partnership with our engineering team. 
  • Evaluate existing processes – identify areas of improvement, consolidation and scale to be included in our ecosystem quarterly roadmap.
  • Develop scalable, insightful and proactive monitoring of our end to end lead ecosystem. 
  • Establish, improve and maintain the processes needed to measure and track the health of our lead management stack.
  • Partner with engineering team to develop, deliver enhancements, features within this ecosystem on time and within SLAs. 
  • Troubleshoot campaign lead generation issues, data issues, MQL and Lead routing engines in partnership with engineering
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales development, field sales, sales systems, marketing operations, and web development to implement LinkedIn's global demand generation strategy
  • Leverage SQL experience and deep knowledge of our MQL and Routing engine logic to determine impact to the business when system issues arise.
  • Partner with cross functional groups to identify areas of optimization and improvement of the stack post implementation (marketing, sales development, data science, performance operations, campaign operations). 
  • Responsible for partnering with the business support team to understand current challenges, optimizations identified across our BU partners and where applicable develop strategy to incorporate scalable solutions into the roadmap.  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of global marketing or sales operations experience in sales development or marketing operations/analytical roles.
  • 3+ years’ experience owning and leading complex lead management and routing process creation, delivery and monitoring.
  • 2+ years’ experience with MySQL/SQL experience
  • 1+ years’ experience with SOQL experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in leading & managing large scale technology related projects

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1+ years’ Project management experience in a matrix organization. 
  • Experience leading technology projects building inhouse solutions to solve complex business problems. 
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization to facilitate strong teamwork.
  • 5+ years subject matter expertise in marketing operations and/or sales operations including lead management, customer lifecycle, telemarketing, and master data experience with CRM and Marketing Automation Platforms.
  • Ability to uncover business requirements, translate them into engineering sprint and resource planning while meeting project deadlines.
  • Analytical thinker, naturally curious and willing to learn new best-in-class leading edge marketing and sales development operations methods and processes.
  • Advanced analytic, reporting and presentation skills
  • Ability to ramp quickly and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Self-starter and leader - highly accountable and communicative
  • Results-oriented, solid work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and persuasion skills.
