About the role:

itBit is a fast-growing company in a fast-growing industry. One of the most difficult challenges we face growing a company in a dynamic industry is tackling a diverse range of ad hoc projects. These projects span a wide range of internal and external focus areas, such as: identifying operational inefficiencies in our product development process, researching opportunities to participate in and lead industry organizations/consortia, preparing materials for board meetings, identifying resource gaps and constraints, and so on.

We are looking for a strong leader to work as an extension of the executive management team and own and drive these ad hoc projects. The person in this role should be able to work autonomously with minimal guidance to execute projects at the highest level. Because the projects are extremely diverse, we’re looking for someone smart with a knack for learning quickly and executing efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a diverse set of experiences and is not afraid of operating in unknown territory.                                                     

You will:

  • Partner closely with executive management on strategic projects across the company
  • Coordinate across departments and offices (NYC, Singapore and London) to complete internal and external company initiatives
  • Partner with senior leadership across the company to coordinate strategy and deliverables for cross-functional teams
  • Help company leadership refine and execute on company mission, core principles and organizational values
  • Provide strategic input on all organizational structure and resource allocation needs, including individual and team bandwidth, role responsibilities, role transfers, performance review and talent development
  • Lead ad hoc legal, compliance, finance, product, sales, marketing and business development projects and execute from start to finish

Skills & Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of working experience in a similar role
  • Ability to understand new concepts and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp business problems and proactively seek out opportunities to improve processes
  • Robust interpersonal skills to build relationships up, down and across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of assignments and drive complex strategic projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • A positive, team-player attitude
  • Previous experience at a financial technology firm or early stage, high growth company is a plus
