Managing Editor and Content Marketing Strategist

As part of the marketing team, you will own all marketing activity related to attracting the best startups to become members of RocketSpace. You will be responsible for filling the pipeline and the implementation of successful lead generating programs for our network of global technology campuses, which include locations in San Francisco and London initially.

In this role, RocketSpace is looking for a dynamic, analytical and results driven marketing leader to join the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building an inbound marketing machine to attract the best startups to RocketSpace.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the contact lists in the marketing automation database.
  • Help with creation of the landing pages, workflows, and tracking of contacts and leads from the website.
  • Assist with creating and monitoring marketing lead nurturing programs across solutions and targets.
  • Provide optimization recommendations based on A/B testing and lead nurturing research and analysis.  
  • Create and maintain relevant lead scoring as programs evolve.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, sponsorship activity, and event management.
  • Oversee the content marketing strategy for our target customers
  • Work closely with the marketing team on creating a fully integrated marketing platform.

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience managing and building teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage to overarching goals
  • Excellent writing skills (samples required)
  • Well-versed with marketing automation software (HubSpot a plus), Salesforce, Google Docs, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint required)
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • You’re a project management ninja with exceptional attention to detail and follow up.
  • A solid understanding of inbound marketing methodology
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (preferably with HubSpot)
  • Experience in executing ROI-driven marketing campaigns and lead generation programs.
  • Strong analytical abilities.   You love working with data, analyzing outcomes, and scoping out key insights to establish continuous optimization.  
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment where you may have to wear multiple hats.
  • High impact personality: ambitious, motivated, action-oriented, results-focused and metrics-driven
  • Organization and time management skills, rigor, attention to details
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems required
  • Understand lead scoring, CRM integration and list uploads.
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Marketing preferred
