Digital transformation in the insurance industry is happening fast and here at Haven we are at the forefront of many of these changes. In this new role, we are looking for a Market Development Consultant to identify and explore new opportunities for the Agency Division of Haven Life. This individual will be responsible for developing relationships with potential partners and seeing them through to sales results.

Among other things, your responsibilities will include:

  • Work independently and with management to identify develop desirable relationships, resolve key issues and negotiate toward beneficial conclusions on highly visible opportunities.
  • Explore and develop relationships that will lead to new business partnership opportunities.
  • Work with product teams to develop implementation plans and own communication of those plans with the customer.
  • Set expectations with partners and resolve critical decisions.
  • Collaborate with other business segments on the development of new products and services
  • Assist with completing marketplace assessments to determine optimal distribution strategy to achieve both short and long-term goals
  • Collaborate with Marketing on innovative positioning and promotional/awareness campaigns
