Racked is Vox Media’s shopping expert, exploring why and how we shop for the things we put on our body. From investigative features on your favorite brands to guides to the best shopping in the cities you’ll visit this summer, we want Racked to be the ultimate shopping authority for real people with real budgets and real questions about how and why we decide to buy the things we do.
A market editor that knows the industry is a key player in this plan. Developing relationships with designers and brands, showrooms and publicists, will be a large part of this person’s role. Attending presentations, fashion shows, and market previews each season will keep this person on top of everything happening in the market to make Racked’s service both accessible and aspirational. They will work closely with our Shopping Director to develop mobile-first shoppable content.
