We’re looking for strategic marketing analyst to work alongside senior marketing and sales leaders to drive hyper growth for LinkedIn's largest business line in its fastest growing global region. Ideal candidate is driven by curiosity and delivering data-driven truths. This person can harness the power of data to deliver analysis at scale that drive both long term strategy and daily actionable insights for marketing and sales. 

As a marketing analytics manager, you’re able to dive deep into the data to make recommendations for program optimization and return on investment. You can conduct complex analyses that require multiple data sources, innovative problem-solving skills, and in-depth evaluation of variable factors. You continuously and rigorously mine for insights as part of the day-to-day process of improving marketing performance and business impact through analytics

  • Manage analytics projects with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to make data-driven decisions on growth marketing. Areas include but are not limited to:  
  • Forecasting (in partnership with sales team) 
  • Full funnel view, analysis, remediation 
  • Attribution modelling  
  • Resourcing 
  • Play a vital role in driving our strategic planning process through data-driven recommendations, including deep analysis at both regional and country levels to influence marketing strategy, resourcing and tactics 
  • Gather requirements and project manage changes to our data infrastructure and advanced analytics tools that will improve our marketing performance and attribution 
  • Help define, track and influence KPIs and measurement criteria for marketing programs. 
  • Teach and empower the marketing team to pull the metrics they need and infuse data-driven insights into their day-to-day activities. 
  • Develop processes to identify market trends, opportunities and risks that enable the marketing team to be increasingly proactive 
  • Establish strong working relationships with business operations, sales operations, marketing operations, data science, and the sales development team to achieve above objectives 

 Basic qualifications 

  • 5+ years of relevant career experience 
  • Experience with data extraction tools and methods (examples: SQL, R, Python, etc.) and BI and data visualization tools (example: Tableau) 
  • Experience in a role requiring consultative stakeholder engagement    
  • Experience in project management

 Preferred qualifications 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in maths, marketing, statistics, economics or related quantitative field 
  • Experience in management consulting  
  • Experience in marketingsales or operations 
  • Ability to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational tactics 
  • Proven ability to use data and analysis to inform marketing strategy, planning and resourcing, both online and offline (events, advertising, etc.)  
  • Experience using sales and marketing tools or platforms (examples: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Google Analytics, Marketo, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of the digital analytics environment
