BLINQ is seeking a contract-based copywriter for an exciting opportunity to help define the voice of our B2C brand BLINQ. You will be a key member of a team responsible for developing the new brand voice and vocabulary -- across online and offline channels -- working collaboratively with stakeholders and drawing on our brand archetype, user personas, marketing feedback, competitive analysis, and other inputs.

You must have a solid grasp of translating concepts and ideas into engaging and compelling storytelling. You know how to make a brand come alive through words. You are motivated by a passion for inspiring consumers. You love collaboration and perfecting copy until it sings. You can show us a portfolio that illustrates your previous experience in bringing brands to life.


  • Write compelling and share-worthy brand stories, short-form content and ad copy
  • Infuse a strong and consistent narrative throughout a variety of ecommerce touchpoints, formats, device types and channels
  • Collaborate with Design and Marketing to create exceptional experiences across multiple user journeys with words that differentiate our brands, enrich the visitor’s experience, and drive engagement 
  • Work closely with Design and Marketing to support copy priorities and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Amend and revise copy in response to feedback from stakeholders 
  • Articulate and uphold the integrity of BLINQ’s voice and tone; train other content producers on maintaining the above


  • Portfolio that demonstrates strong copywriting skills for ecommerce clients
  • Ability to quickly understand and incorporate stakeholder feedback
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, plus the ability to function within deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team
  • Past experience in copywriting and/or brand marketing is a must; ad agency experience desired
  • References that will attest to consistent delivery of superb copy to specifications and by deadline
  • Great sense of humor

This contract is on a retainer basis for a 3-month term, with the possibility of extension.
