Note: This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand

Responsibilities:

What you will be doing

  • Analyze users’ digital interactions and booking data to generate ideas for email campaign experiments
  • Report on the results of experiments and provide recommendations for follow-up actions
  • Improve the user segmentation to increase the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Define algorithms to use data to and personalize the message content for each user
  • Monitor, analyze and report related key metrics, spot and escalate anomalous trends
  • Forecast and track the financial performance of the customer marketing business
  • Identify gaps in the data available and recommend improvements

… strong data skills…

  • Proficient in Excel: you made a pivot table and used vlookup in the past 7 days
  • Able to get actionable insights from large data sets: you have already crunched an dataset with 10k rows
  • Experienced in statistics: you used confidence intervals or linear regression at work or at school
  • Strong is visualizing data: you presented your analysis with a chart in the past week

… and

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or Management Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as data analyst or in projects involving big data
  • Fluency in Thai and English

What would be helpful (but is not required)

  • Master’s Degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or Management Accounting
  • Experience in ecommerce or email marketing
  • Working knowledge of one or more among SQL, R, SPSS, Python, VBA
  • Experience using OLAP cubes via an excel interface (e.g. using pivot tables or “cubevalue”)
