Marketing Director, RCA

Shanghai, China

You will be managing the team responsible for media cross-promotion including TV, radio, internet, socials and print. Help RCA’s artists build their presence and increasing their follower base on social media, as well as to strengthen RCA China’s online presence, to increase brand awareness through effective social media strategies and campaigns to deliver sustainable growth 

What you'll do:

  • Build and support SEO strategies, including optimizing keywords in content Marketing projects.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research and any Analytic tools.
  • Study and research trends in social media and relevant tools.
  • Identify habits of our online customers and suggest ways to reach a broader Audience
  • Maintain a cohesive strategy and execute across all platforms to increase RCA China’s brand awareness and artist positioning.
  • Research how emerging social networks and features can benefit our company.
  • Plan & implement creative, innovative, and effective social media campaigns to drive audience engagement and strengthen artists’ social media presence.
  • Lead MarCom campaigns and work with Artists, A&R & Creative planning teams on brand/artist story, values, aesthetic, copy and character etc.
  • Stay abreast on current and trending topics and use them to create social media content that helps RCA artists stay relevant
  • Accompany artists for media/social media/events/promotion activities
  • Actively build good relationship and networking with media/social media partnership and work closely with digital marketing to deliver data-driven creative through the right media choices to drive performance.
  • Work with content creation to produce engaging and dynamic graphic and video content that promotes fan interaction, and increases and encourages fan participation.

Who you are:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience (Senior Manager), 4-6 years of relevant work experience (Supervisor/Manager).
  • Degree or above in Marketing, Journalism, Cultural Studies, Music Business or related fields, Preferably Bilingual (in both Chinese & English)
  • Strong track record of managing successful marketing communication campaign in China market. Experience in using social media/DSP analytics tools
  • Strong Team player with a digital first, customer-centric mindset, high attention to details, excellent “Story-Telling” presentation skills.
