Marketing Manager, Acquisition

New York, United States

Overview:

Casper is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Acquisition team. As a member of the Acquisition team, you will be responsible for growing Casper’s sales through efficient, scalable direct response channels. Some of the things you’ll work on include…

  • Working with our Creative team to build a test-and-iterate approach to our TV creative, ideally helping us create a pipeline of new concepts for the future.
  • Working with our Analytics team to find the ideal flighting and frequency for our core placements across TV, radio and podcasts.
  • Working with our Experiential Marketing team to expand our live podcast integrations.
  • Maintaining close relationships with our broadcast endorsers and identifying new endorsers to work with in future; ensuring we’re on the cutting edge of the radio and podcast space.
  • Testing and optimizing new and emerging offline channels like local and streaming radio, digital video and programmatic TV.
  • Managing reporting and attribution across all traditional media, working with internal and external Analytics resources to regularly report on ROI and find new, innovative ways to attribute traditional media channels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in a marketing role, preferably managing direct response channels
  • Strong analytical skills: You are extremely comfortable with Excel and open to working with data in platforms like Looker, Convertro and Google Analytics
  • Strong negotiation skills: You enjoy the art of the bargain and won’t back down until you get Casper the absolute best deal
  • Superb attention to detail and ability to execute swiftly

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience managing external agencies

About Casper

Casper (casper.com) is a sleep brand that launched in 2014 with one perfect mattress sold directly to consumers — eliminating commission-driven, inflated prices. Its award-winning sleep surface was developed in-house, has a sleek design, and is delivered in a small, "how did they do that?" sized box. A year and a half after launching the mattress, Casper expanded its universally comfortable product line, which now includes a perfect pillow and sheets.

Now expanding into Europe, the company is one of the fastest growing consumer brands of all time with more than 100 full-time employees, $100M in revenue for 2015, and 100,000 Casper owners. Casper was named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in the World, and its eponymous mattress was crowned one of Time's Best Inventions of 2015.
