Lightstep is looking for a to help drive integrated, multi-touch and metrics-driven top of funnel campaigns as Lightstep rapidly grows our presence among developers and economic buyers in companies leveraging the latest in application architectures. We are seeking people who enjoy a fast paced, highly visible, high growth environment where they are given the freedom to rethink B2B marketing conventions in a language that is relevant to sales and leverages the entire marketing apparatus holistically for maximum impact.  

What you’ll do:

The marketing/demand generation manager is responsible for designing multi-touch demand creation programs that leverage both inbound and outbound tactics. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Selecting Targets in concert with ABM and sales strategies
  • Designing offers and calls to action
  • Setting individual program goals and measurement criteria

Additional responsibilities include managing external agencies and internal resources, creating demand creation programs “in a box” for direct and indirect sales, and building/managing shared demand creation processes with inside/field/channel sales.

You would be a great addition if….

  • You are a positive, proactive, and highly collaborative marketer  with a proven track record of building strong, creative campaigns
  • You possess deep understanding of marketing automation systems and their ability to drive meaningful impact to top of funnel
  • Understand web analytics performance 
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences 

Bonus points if …

  • You are comfortable working with HTML/CSS to build your own emails, landing pages, and similar collateral
  • You have worked with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to create creative materials
  • You have a history of reaching developer audiences with clear and concise messaging
  • You have prior experience in the application performance monitoring (APM), DevOps, or distributed tracing spaces
  • Have architected and deployed a successful ABM program across sales, marketing, and inside sales
  • Are confident in search engine optimization/search engine marketing (SEO/SEM)
