Marketing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

As our Marketing Specialist, you will provide support to our Marketing Team in execution and coordination of the Marketing Plan and Communications Strategies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help implement marketing and communications strategies
  • Provide administrative support to programs, internal teams, and ad hoc marketing requests
  • Assist in maintaining web content, social media and blog
  • Assist in executing social media strategies along with daily monitoring and engagement
  • Help in the creation of presentations and marketing collateral
  • Provide support for social media postings, including paid ads
  • Assist in the coordination of printed marketing collateral (brochures, business cards, etc.)

 REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media marketing, Google analytics and SEO
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and busy schedules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in MS office, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with colleagues
  • Experience shooting photography and video is preferred
  • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media and Google is preferred

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic, hands-on, detail-oriented individual for this opportunity.

This is a 12 month contract position, 40 hours per week - covering a maternity leave.

Compensation is base salary. We also offer paid vacation time, sick/personal days and fully paid benefits after 3 months’ probation (Life, Accidental Death & Disability, Short and Long-Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental, Employee Assistance Program and RRSP Program with company matching your contributions, up to 3% of your salary).
