What we are looking for:

We’d like to add a Mongo Database Administrator to our Database and Reporting Team and we’d like to know if you think you fit the bill.  You will if you:

Ideally we would like someone with 3-5 years of experience or exceptional new graduates with the following skills:

  • Mongo DB DBA Expertise – 3.0 or above
  • Linux OS
  • DBMS Mgt Tool Set
  • Sharding / Replica Sets
  • JSON
  • Disaster Recovery / High Availability
  • Scripting experience (Java, Perl, Python etc.)
  • Strong communication Skills


What you can expect to be doing:

  • Serve as part of the Database Team in developing, implementing, and maintaining next generation database systems
  • Provide Services in administration and performance monitoring of Database related systems, delivering optimal efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Develop system administration standards and procedures to maintain
    consistent practices
  • Support backup and recovery strategies
  • Provide, assist and participate in the creative process to improving architectural designs and implement new architectures
  • Monitor and proactively support capacity planning and analysis
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and proactively tune databases and workloads
