The Role

You will make an impact at Pantheon by conceiving, designing, presenting, editing, and producing cutting-edge concepts, storyboards, motion, video, and interactive experiences that connect audiences on the web and in live events. You will also be producing visual design materials (even ones without motion): such as paid ads, social ads, downloadable pdfs, and landing pages as needed. A motion designer needs to have a high level of creativity and be able to communicate their ideas to both internal stakeholders and customers. The ability to be flexible as priorities shift, work well under pressure, have a technical mastery of design tools, and multitasking are required skills.

For this position, we are looking for experienced individuals with skills in communications design, marketing, product, and atomic design systems. This person needs to be a master of iconography and typography, and how these are applied in both digital and print media. We are looking for people who can take a human-centered approach to designing experiences across multiple channels and devices, in order to inform and delight our SaaS customers and their users.

Organization skills are important, and this includes helping maintain our global and scalable design libraries and templates in Brandtheon, Figma, Google Drive, Google Slides, Adobe, and Confluence. You will report to the Creative Director and work closely with designers, researchers, product managers, writers, and different experts across several teams.

Cool Stuff You'll Do

  • Drive the marketing-driven creative assets for the website, marketing collateral, banner ads, external landing pages, downloadables, emails/newsletters, and all other visual representations of the Pantheon brand from concept through completion—in order to meet the needs of our customers, resulting in sales and growth for the company.
  • Create branded videos and animations to enhance UX through motion and audio.
  • Work with stakeholders on final video/gifs edits and deliverables.
  • Build beautiful storyboards and presentations to explain your ideas.
  • When appropriate, introduce motion to our product dashboard and design systems.
  • Systematically communicate insights in creative and compelling ways.
  • Focus on the brand and drive consistency across platforms, while storing deliverables in multiple libraries.
  • Assist executive team members with presentations and other creative support.
  • Perform brand sweeps at a reasonable cadence, to ensure designs are always fresh and reflect the latest trends.
  • Work with analysts to regularly review results and optimize creative accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing peers as a key strategic partner.  Understand their business objectives and help them drive the business forward by proactively contributing strategic and tactical program ideas, working with them to develop creative briefs, delivering excellent creative and monitoring results together.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience as a designer (in both digital and print)
  • Experience working with global SaaS brands
  • Master practitioner in Figma, Google, and Adobe tools
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript technologies
  • Degree in Design or Human Computer Interaction Science
  • Understanding of qualitative and design research methods
  • Expertise in visual storytelling and trends
