MPO Solution Architect

Job location: This is a virtual role. You may work anywhere from home and be based anywhere in the USA.

About the team

This role is part of MPO: MPO has joined Kinaxis®, the leading provider of supply chain planning software with applications covering supply, demand, inventory, sales and operations planning (S&OP).  Combined with MPO’s state-of-the-art Multi Party Orchestration and execution platform, this game-changing combination enables us to offer our customers a true end-to-end solution. As a member of our Consulting Team, you understand our customers’ most pressing business performance challenges and you are committed to helping our customers solve complex challenges in the distributed value chain that is prevalent in manufacturing today.

What you will do

Working with new and existing customers, you will provide expert guidance in leveraging our product offerings and deliver value in the following ways:

  • Provide creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices
  • End to end solution ownership for assigned projects
  • Drive client participation in project design activities
  • Lead Deployment Workshops to help customers achieve immediate value from their investment;
  • Facilitate business process design and development that leverages our solution capabilities;
  • Resolve complex data and analytic configurations to ensure that the solution is producing the expected results;
  • Create solution design and assign work packages to the project team
  • Work with customer to prioritize their rollout planning
  • Guide and mentor the consulting project team
  • Continuous liaison with Key users
  • Organize training for Key users (Train the trainer)
  • Working with our customers to develop a roadmap to solve multiple supply-chain problems leveraging the power of our solutions
  • Providing high levels of customer service whenever the opportunity arises
  • Work with Account Executives and Client Partners to articulate the value of our solution and be able to discuss our implementation methodology/approach
  • Work as subject matter expertise for Presales opportunities

What we are looking for

  • Multiple cycles of leading development teams in complex supply-chain Execution / Logistics /Transportation Management systems solution design, development, and testing
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in business software consulting and/or Transportation Management systems
  • Experience in engaging and negotiating  with C-level stake-holders
  • Good understanding of Logistics & Supply Chain processes and domain expertise.
  • Adept at business process analysis and divergent process identification, followed by Process Harmonization workshops and Change Management.
  • Experience working with business teams and understanding their requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities within teams
  • Expert in Supply Chain Management Application configuration; previous work as a Supply Chain Solution Architect; Logistics SME; experience with lead process re-engineering and design activities in large projects.
  • Proven record in building customer satisfaction through domain knowledge and product specific skill sets.
  • Proven experience in solutions for Supply Chain Orchestration, Control Towers, 4PL,  3PL, Transportation planning, Freight Settlement
  • Proven ability to share knowledge and stay updated on current trends and technical advancements
  • Experience with client-facing consulting engagements involving senior-level executives across diverse businesses
  • Proficient in Supply Chain Management Platforms and able to handle Business Requirement Workshops, fit-gap analysis, functional solution designs, configurations and process automations, lead Conference Room Pilots, Integration discussions and system testing, Key User trainings
  • Ability to drive discussions with customers and grow the account.
  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and establish and manage one’s own work schedule and weekly activity
  • Results-driven and able to motivate diverse teams to achieve quality results
  • Able and willing to travel internationally and have flexible work hours

Things That Would Help:

  • Experience leading implementation of other TMS applications – Oracle OTM, Alpega, BlueYonder, SAP TM, E2open etc
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
