Named Enterprise Sales Account Executive, Telco & Energy

As we continue to increase our presence in the Unified Data Analytics world we're looking for a creative, execution oriented Named Account Executives to maximise the huge market opportunity that exists for Databricks today within the Telco and Energy vertical.

Reporting to the RVP, CEMEA, as a Named Enterprise Account Executive, you are experienced in selling to a small number of the largest global accounts within the Telco and Energy space. You'll come with an informed and compelling point of view on Big Data and Advanced Analytics which will guide your successful sales strategy and together with both our teams and partners, allowing you to provide value to our biggest and most valued customers.

The impact you will have:

  • Assess your accounts and develop a strategy to identify and use all buying centres
  • Identify the expand use cases in each account to maximise Databricks impact
  • Orchestrate and use internal teams to maximise the impact on your ecosystem
  • Build value with all engagements to guide successful negotiations to close point
  • Increase growth in consumption of your customers

What we look for:

  • Track record of selling multi million dollar complex software deals to the world's most recognisable organisations, particularly within the Telco and Energy space.
  • Experience in selling consumption based SaaS solutions advantageous
  • Evidence of creating demand that delivers large scale account expansion
  • Experience of following robust sales methodologies and process, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value selling and accurate forecasting
  • Build champions and collaborative teams to support implementation of expansion plan
  • Experience of developing a clear partner strategy and managing it to success
  • Identify all key uses cases and buying centres in an opportunity to increase the impact of Databricks in an organisation
  • Fluent German and English language skills required
