Our Monks are looking beyond their server-side scripts in search of an English-speaking Node.JS Developer. In this role, you’ll be joining our office which works alongside other monasteries to craft award-winning work for leading brands and businesses.

About the Role

As a Node.JS Developer you will:

• Play a key role in the development of projects and products for clients around the world.
• Work closely with other disciplines to create dedicated services for websites, short-term campaigns, mini-games, IoT, integrated micro-services for the coolest livestreams, and other interactive hot stuff.
• Develop backend environments that run like Usain but without the slow start.
• Contribute to, and learn about the latest and greatest in backend security.
• Create tools and packages that will boost development speed.
• In short, create a high variety of high-load and high-performance projects while sharing tips, tricks, and memes with some of the best developers in the world.

Requirements

• We are looking for a NodeJS expert that speaks Javascript and/or Typescript fluently.
• You have relevant experience in Node.js, you’re confident in developing a high-load, high-performance, stable and secure software.
• To SQL or NoSQL? You always look for the best fit for the project.
• Git is your second name.
• You have relevant experience in Cloud(AWS or GCP), and any other backend technologies are a plus (PHP, Python, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, etc).
• You’re a proficient English communicator, able to provide clear updates on the development of projects and knowing how to accurately describe issues and required actions to Monks in other offices.
• Equally important is your drive, dedication, and sense of responsibility.
• When it comes to your work and workload, you can keep teams up-to-date on your progress by providing clear estimates.
• Any frontend skills with HTML, CSS and JS would be an obvious advantage.
