Summary

Create manufacturing plans for prototype, pilot production and full production.

This is a full time onsite role.

Analyze and recommend corrective action in case of any design failure.

  • Develop product test plans and perform production test according to manufacturing process instructions.
  • Prepare plans for all NPI projects and coordinate with all stakeholders and ensure good quality product.
  • Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to required policies, procedures.
  • Develop strong working relationships with both Engineering and Production teams to ensure all company objectives can be met.
  • Reviews production program equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacement.
  • Installs new equipment and ensures that it operates correctly; trains others to operate new machinery.
  • Transfer the product from the pilot manufacturing line to the volume manufacturing line.

Qualifications

  • A results-oriented and dedicated personality with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • A deep understanding of the development cycle as a process and a discipline – ability to drive first principles and maintain focused on goals during constant change, learning, and new analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or Manufacturing

Engineering environment.

  • BS/MS Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or

Electrical Engineering.

  • Excellent leadership, data presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Extreme attention to details.
  • Experienced in Python programming.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Familiar with PCB failure analysis and root cause analysis in general.

What else would be nice:

  • Knowledge of wireless protocols and hardware (BLE,Lora,Cell, ETC)
  • Ability to use Ecad tools (altium,eagle,Kicad)
  • Knowledge of adhesives or experience designing enclosures
  • Familiar with SolidWorks and Labview
  • Fluency in Spanish

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
